Q: What product lines are included?
A: Qualifying product lines in the H&R Block promotion include:

Q: How do I qualify to receive the $150 tax preparation incentive at H&R Block?
A: Homeowners who purchase a minimum of twelve (12) Simonton windows and/or patio doors that are eligible for the Federal Energy Tax Credit under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 from any of the qualifying product lines (listed above) from a participating Simonton Windows® dealer between February 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010 will qualify for this offer to receive a certificate good for up to $150 toward preparation of a 2010 personal income tax return at a participating H&R Block office in the United States.
Q: What do I need to do to receive the $150 H&R Block incentive?
A: Homeowners must:
• Make a qualifying purchase (see above)
• Complete all information on the redemption form and attach a copy of invoice(s) with qualifying products and date(s) of purchase circled or highlighted.
• Mail the completed redemption form and a copy of the invoice(s) to the address on the form within 60 calendar days of the invoice date.
If the Terms of Offer are not met, the redemption form will not be processed and no Certificate will be issued.
Q: What is the deadline to request an H&R Block incentive certificate?
A: Redemption forms must be postmarked within 60 calendar days of the invoice date. Any forms postmarked after 60 calendar days of the invoice date will not be processed, and no Certificate will be issued.
Q: When will I receive my Certificate?
A: Please allow 6 – 8 weeks for delivery of your Certificate. All certificates will be mailed after April 16, 2010.
Q: I already have an accountant who does my taxes. May I give my certificate to a relative or friend?
A: No. The Certificate cannot be transferred or used by anyone other than the qualifying homeowner. If the Certificate is improperly transferred or if the Certificate is improperly used for the preparation of an income tax return for someone other than an eligible person determined by Simonton Windows, the user agrees to reimburse H&R Block for the value of the Certificate.
Q: Where can I find a redemption form?
A: Redemption forms are available from your window installer. Forms may also be downloaded HERE.
Q: Does qualifying for the $150 tax preparation incentive at H&R Block mean I will automatically receive the federal Energy Tax Credit?
A: No. Simonton expressly disclaims any responsibility for determining whether a purchase will qualify for the IRS energy tax credit or whether the purchaser will receive the tax credit. Simonton recommends that consumers consult their tax advisors and review IRS guidelines prior to purchasing any window or door products. Q: How long is the $150 H&R Block incentive certificate valid?
A: The certificate is valid January 1, 2011 through October 17, 2011.
Q: When does the H&R Block promotion end?
A: The H&R Block promotion runs through December 31, 2010.
